Natural Stone & Quartz Warranty

Excel Cabinets warrants its natural stone and quartz countertops to the original consumer purchaser to be free from all defects in workmanship and material under normal use for one year from the original date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser (“the Warranty Period”).  Any accessories, or other products sold with or as a part of any natural stone or quartz countertop that were not manufactured and sold by Excel Cabinets are expressly excluded from coverage by this limited warranty.

Excel Cabinets will repair or replace defective natural stone and quartz countertops free of charge during the Warranty Period so long as the original consumer purchaser contacts Excel Cabinets, in writing, within the Warranty Period.  The writing must include a description of the alleged defect and the date and place of purchase of the product.

This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, or defects caused by any other improperly installed or defective products not sold to the consumer by Excel Cabinets.  Additionally, this warranty does not cover wear, deterioration, or etching resulting from the natural aging of the countertops or by use of harmful cleaning agents or other chemicals.  This warranty does not cover countertop stains, water spots and rings, efflorescence, scratches, cut marks or nicks.  This warranty does not cover seam separation caused by the settling of the home over time.  This warranty does not cover any defects caused by the home owner through improper or poorly performed maintenance such as but not limited to, caulking next to walls, in the seams, and around sink cut outs or other fixtures.  This warranty does not cover burns, discoloration or cracks caused when excessive heat is applied to the countertops. This warranty does not cover caulking where the countertop meets the wall as this is considered routine maintenance to be accomplished by the homeowner. This warranty does not cover cracks or breaks in the stone as a result of excessive weight being placed on the stone especially but not limited to countertop overhangs.

Excel Cabinets will not assume or authorize any person to assume for us, any liability in connection with the sale of any post formed laminate countertop or any other of Excel Cabinet’s products.

Excel Cabinets reserves the right to change design, specification, and materials as conditions require and as improvements are developed.  The manufacturer has no obligation to incorporate such changes into products previously manufactured.

Excel Cabinets makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
